SLEEPING 2 .. BABIES AND DOGS ARE VERY WELCOME!

We also now have Victoria Cottage. It is situated behind Ivy Cottage - available as an annexe or by its self.

Crieff is the main town in Strathearn, lying on the Southern edge of the Scottish Highlands. It has been a holiday resort since Victorian times and is the second largest town in Perthshire with a population of almost six thousand; it is an ideal touring base for the whole of Perthshire, and yet the town spills into many easy accessible woodland walks (at high and low level) including alongside the River Earn. Ivy Cottage is situated within walking distance of Crieff town centre and all its amentities, and yet close to the River Earn. The nearest pub serving food is just a 10 minute walk away. Perth is only 20 minutes drive, and Edinburgh, Stirling and Glasgow all within easy reach - and good public transport.

Full of character and charm, this south facing traditional one bedroom cottage is set within its own walls and hedging. It is easy to find situated off the A822, with large private parking area, garden/outdoor furniture, and barbecue.

Prices include gas, electricity, heating, hot water, all linen, towels and tea towels. Baby equipment provided: cot (not bedding), high chair, car seat, pushchair and potty!

Pets are very welcome but there is a small charge of £10 per pet.

Unfortunately the property is not suitable for disabled living.

Well equipped and personally supervised by the owner, Jane, it is an ideal cottage for couples who would like to explore the surrounding area and enjoy loch and river fishing, the oldest distillery (Glenturret), excellent golf courses, and now with a good choice of many restaurants to suit all tastes.

There are maps, guides and leaflets which will help all enjoy your holiday!

View of the Small Glen,8 miles from Crieff on the A822.

James Square with its fountain marks the centre of town. It has many attractions such as Crieff Visitor Centre, Glenturret Distillery, Macrostie Park, Lady Mary's Walk with beautiful beech-lined avenue; other accessible outings include Scone Palace near Perth, Dundee Rep Theatre, Perth Concert Hall and Gleneagles resort Hotel/Golf.

These are the formal gardens at the famous Drummond Castle; they are a wonderful secret.. there is no shop or cafe - so take and enjoy a picnic and do not forget your camera... see the links for futher information!

Once an ancient cattle market and Scottish "frontier town" where Highlanders would come for the great cattle trysts: the cattle were driven from all over the north of Scotland to be sold to lowland buyers.
